Since the Sydney Olympics, Ann Dow has played professionally in Europe in countries such as Italy and Greece and also helped Canada at major international events. One of Canada's top scorers internationally, Dow is another key veteran along with Johanne Bégin and Cora Campbell that could give Canada an edge in a pressure-packed tournament like the Olympics.
Dow graduated in physical education at the Université du Québec a Montreal (UQUAM) and is also the women's athlete representative on Water Polo Canada's board.
