Martin Grenier is member of the Universite de Sherbrooke sprint team, a powerhouse at the Canadian Interuniversity Championships the past several years. Grenier finished second in the men's 60-metre just behind teammate Ibrahim Meite at the CIS championships in March.
Grenier earned a spot o the Olympic team by finishing fifth in the men's 100-metre sprint at the Canadian championships and Olympic trials clocking 10.46 seconds in the final. He is part of the 4X100 relay pool. Grenier is studying to become an English teacher.
