Infielder Angela Lichty joined the women's national team in 2001 and competed at both the 2002 world championships and 2003 Pan Am Games. She was a member of Team Ontario at the 1997 Canada Games, earning a silver medal. She graduated in psychology at Simon Fraser University and plans to pursue a career in public relations.
At Simon Fraser, she established several offensive records and also caught the last out when it won the 1999 collegiate title. Currently based at Simon Fraser with the national team, she teaches the sport at the West Coast Softball Academy in B.C., and works part time for the Great Canadian Superstore.
