Outfielder Alison Bradley heads to her first Olympic Games after representing Canada at the 2002 world championships and 2003 Pan Am Games. She was one of eighth players initially named to the Olympic team last December.
"We're going in a very positive direction and I think there's a great chance we're going to be on the podium," said Bradley. "We really want to win a medal and do
well."
Bradley is a music graduate at the University of Western Ontario and currently teaches music. She turned down numerous U.S., scholarships to pursue her music career.
She plays four instruments and sang the national anthem at the Canada Cup tournament.
