Andreanne Morin was a member of Canada's eights crew that won bronze last year at the world championships. She is the only rower on the Olympic team from Quebec. She took up the sport as a teenager in 1996. By 1998 she was on the Canadian national junior team and was fourth in fours at the world juniors that year.
She is studying political economy at Princeton University in New Jersey.
