Roslyn McLeod has been in Canada's women's eights boat at two of the last three world championships highlighted by last year's bronze medal performance. The women's eights is completely new crew from the squad that won bronze in Sydney in 2000. They have big shoes to follow: the women's eights have won medals at the last three Olympics.
McLeod graduated in chemical engineering in 1999 at the University of Western Ontario. She worked for a chemical water treatment company for two years.
