Kevin Light has been a member of Canada’s eights crew the last four years including the world champion boats in 2002 and 2003. This year he would like to add Olympic gold to his resume. Light was a Canadian university champion for three year and won silver at the 2000 under-23 world championships in pairs. At the 2000 Olympic trials, Light was among the last cuts. But one of the hardest workers on the team, he bounced back to make sure he was part of what is considered rowing’s glamour event.

His hobbies include cheering for the Vancouver Canucks, painting, photography and video production. He produced the video for the men’s eight website.
