Kyle Hamilton helped Canada to gold at the last two world championships in the men’s eight and returns this year for crack at OIympic glory. Initially he was going to race in the men’s pairs with Dave Calder but last minute changes put him back in eights. Hamilton began rowing at the University of British Columbia in 1996 where he earned history and English degrees. He post career rowing plans are to teach and also coach.
