He's been close a few times but a medal at a world championship or Olympic Games has eluded Keith Morgan -- one of the world's best in the 90 kilos category. He was fifth at the 2003 world championships and 2000 Olympics and seventh at the 2001 worlds.
He started judo at age seven with twin brother Colin Morgan, a member of the 1996 Olympic team with Keith. At age 16, the brothers spent a year in Japan training with a Japanese high school team. Keith Morgan graduated from McGill University in anatomy and cell biology and plans to enter medical school after the Athens Games.
