Ken Ikeda was a coaching selection to the Olympic team. He is the younger brother of Richard Ikeda who is still a national team member in a long and distinguished career. Both Ikedas are coached by their father Mits Ikeda at the Abbotsford Twisters Club.
The Ikeda brothers were part of the Canada's ninth place team at the world championships last year in Anaheim, which allowed the men to send a full six-member team to the Games for the first time since 1988.
