Suzy Pettman, a member of Canada's eventing team, began riding Kilcotrim last summer. The 15-year-old Irish Thoroughbred gelding was owned and formally ridden by her fiancé Jonathan Elliott. Pettman has enjoyed considerable success since joining forces with Kilcotrim earning personal best results on the international circuit.
Pettman started riding at age five and by 1997 she was the top Canadian at the 1997 North American Young Riders Championships. She was a reserve rider on the 1999 Pan Am Games team.
