Carrie Lightbound earned a berth on her second consecutive Olympic team in the women's K-4 500 crew. She was a member of the ninth place K-4 squad in Sydney. Lightbound has competed at the last four world championships including last year's sixth place finish in the K-4 500. Overall in international competition she's won 11 medals.
