Kamini Jain brings a wealth of international experience to Canada's women's K-4 500 crew at the Olympics. She was a member of the 2000 Olympic team K-4 that placed ninth in Sydney and the 2003 world championship K-4 that was sixth.
Jain moved to Canada from Tripoli at age four. Her mother is British and her father, originally from India, worked in the oil business. She started paddling at age 15 and has earned 14 international medals in her career.
