Outfielder Jeremy Ware returns to Team Canada after helping the squad qualify for the Olympics last year in Panama. He was also on the bronze medal winning team at the 1999 Pan Am Games. He was originally drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 25th round of the 1994 draft and spent the first seven years of his career in the Expos minor league system, reaching the AAA Ottawa Lynx in 2001. In 2002 he was signed as a free agent by the Cleveland Indians then was traded back to the Expos later that year. Then the Expos released him again later that year but resigned him in 2003. He was promoted early this season to AAA Edmonton Trappers but was demoted back to AA Harrisburg in May.
