Relief pitcher Aaron Myette is currently part of the Cincinnati Reds minor league system. As of July 15 season with the AAA Louisville Bats he had a 3-2 record with 11 saves and a 2.26 ERA. He had struck out 48 batters in 51 innings.
Myette, a first round pick of the Chicago White Sox in 1997, has also played parts of the last five seasons with the White Sox, Texas Rangers and Cleveland Indians. He is one of only 13 players from the University of Washington to ever make it to the big leagues. The university has had a baseball program since 1901. Myette was a member of Canada's 1999 Pan Am Games team.
