Left handed pitcher Mike Kusiewicz returns to the Canadian national team program this year for the Olympics after helping the squad qualify for he Games last November at the qualification tournament. Kusiewicz plays in the Milwaukee Brewers' system for the High Desert Mavericks in the Class A California League. As of July 15, he had an 0-1 record, one save and a 4.26 ERA with the Mavericks this season. He had struck out 37 batters in 31 innings.
