Shortstop Danny Klassen has made major league appearances in parts of the previous five seasons. He played in 29 games for the Arizona Diamondbacks in both 1998 and 2000. This season he's played 85 games with the Toledo Mud Hens, the Detroit Tigers' AAA farm team. He's hitting .278 with five home runs and 33 RBI's.
He was drafted in the second round of the 1993 draft by the Milwaukee Brewers then was scooped up by the Diamondbacks in the 1997 expansion draft.
