Left handed hitting Rob Ducey played 13 seasons in the big leagues on six different teams from 1987 to 2001 including parts of seven seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays before ending his pro career with the Montreal Expos. After retiring in 2002 he underwent surgery on both knees and decided to make a comeback with Team Canada. At the Olympic qualifier last year he was effective at the plate with six hits in 12 at bats. He is expected to be Canada's designated hitter in Athens. Ducey started coaching this year for the Expos AA franchise in Harrisburg.
