Roadrunners flying west to Edmonton
American Hockey League President and CEO David Andrews announced today that the league's Board of Governors has unanimously approved the relocation of the Toronto Roadrunners franchise to the city of Edmonton, Alta., effective with the upcoming 2004-05 season. The Edmonton Roadrunners will play their home games at Rexall Place, the parent Oilers' home rink, and will remain in the AHL's North Division.
