
All-star coaches announced

The Quebec Major junior Hockey head-coaches have chosen Claude julien of the Hull Olympiques and guy Chouinard
of the Quebec Remparts to head both teams at the 2000 MasterCard All-Star Game, to be played on Wednesday,
February 9.
Claude Julien will head the "TEAM WORLD". It will be Julien's first experience as head-coach of a QMJHL All-Star Team. The head coach,
who led Canada, to a bronze medal, at the last World Junior Championships in Sweden, said to be particularly honoured of his selection by
his peers: To be able to participate in these events, is always a highlight in a hockey season", said Julien. I am looking forward to this game."
A native from Blind River in Ontario, Julien has been behing the bench of the Hull Olympiques since the 1996-1997 seasons, season which
concluded by the conquest of the Memrorial Cup.
The Quebec Team will for the other, be lead by veteran coach, Guy Chouinard of the Quebec Remparts. The 44 year old coach will take part
i this classic for a third consecutive year. Chouinard, who is the coach with the most wins in career in the "Q" (450, as of January 14) declared
to be extremely surprised of this renewed nomination: " I would like to express my thaks to all the coaches for this vote. Working at the
All-Star Game, is a renewed pleasure", concluded the former Calgary and Atlanta FLames star.
In the course of the week of January 24, the Quebec Maor Junior Hockey League will announce the names of the players invited to play for
team Quebec and team World. Such players will be voted by the coaches themselves who will have, previously, nominated their players .
