WWF donates cash to Calgary hospital

The tragic death of a famous Calgarian will help support life.
The World Wrestling Federation earned $57,300 selling special magazines
devoted to Calgary wrestler Owen Hart, who died May 23, 1999, after a 24-metre
fall at a WWF event in Kansas City.
Now the WWF has given the money to the Alberta Children's Hospital.
"Owen was a bright young star in the World Wrestling Federation, a devoted
husband and father," said Linda McMahon of the WWF.
"At the time of Owen's death, Martha Hart, his widow, indicated the Alberta
Children's Hospital was one of Owen's favourite charities."
Owen's sister, Ellie Neidhart, said the donation "gives us some comfort to
know that some good can come to children in need."
