QUARTERBACKS
HIGH FIVE
Peyton Manning -- Those losses earlier this month are what is keeping him in play this late in the season. Threw for 400 yards against the Texans in Week 2.
Drew Brees -- That was the San Diego Brees last week, not the New Orleans Brees. He should bounce back against a Giants defence that has given up large swaths of airspace in recent weeks.
Michael Vick -- When he is on, as he was last Saturday with four TD tosses, he can carry a fantasy team. Against the Panthers, he will run them ragged.
Brett Favre -- In his past five games against the Vikes, he has turned in three 300-plus games, including a 347 in the dome earlier this year.
Marc Bulger -- It's usually a good idea to stick with him when the Rams are home and the Redskins offer up a tasty matchup with a league-high 25 passing TDs allowed.
SLEEPERS
Carson Palmer -- Funny, but you just can't forget what the Colts -- with a similar array of offensive weapons -- did to the Broncos secondary two months ago.
Vince Young -- The Bills can be run on and Young -- well-rested after rushing for only four yards last week -- will be tough for them to contain.
Jeff Garcia -- The Cowboys have given up 924 yards and 11 TDs through the air their past three games and Garcia actually hasn't sucked as McNabb's fill-in.
RED-FLAGGED
Rex Grossman -- Coming off a 339-yard effort, but with the Bears having nothing to play for right now, he could spend a lot of time observing from the sideline.
RUNNING BACKS
HIGH FIVE
LaDainian Tomlinson -- Not much to say at this point. He is automatic and the fight in this pool is for who gets to join him on your fantasy roster.
Frank Gore -- He has racked up at least 165 yards in five of his past six games and gets the weak Cardinals this time around. More of the same.
Steven Jackson -- Strangely enough, he didn't catch one pass last week, but those two TDs kept his fantasy numbers up. He'll keep them up at home versus the Skins.
Larry Johnson -- Rumbled for 154 yards and two scores against the Raiders a few weeks back and has nine TDs in five starts against them.
Ladell Betts -- Next to Indy, the Rams have given up the most yards on the ground this season, and Betts has four consecutive 100-plus rushing games behind him.
SLEEPERS
Brian Westbrook -- Reliable with the yards all year, the touchdowns are finally coming back with four in his past four weeks.
Marion Barber -- Takes on the vulnerable Eagles after managing multiple-TD games four of the past five weeks.
Ron Dayne -- Can't believe we're actually putting this guy in here, but he does have 40 fantasy points the past two weeks and meets up with the woeful Colts run defence.
RED-FLAGGED
Shaun Alexander -- He looks like he is doing the old snowshoes-on-the-beach thing in recent games and the Chargers won't make it any easier on him.
WIDE RECEIVERS
HIGH FIVE
Reggie Wayne -- For no other reason than Harrison was the featured red zone receiver on Monday night.
Marvin Harrison -- Oh, what the heck, let's stick with him, too. It is the Texans, after all, and the Colts need the game for home-field advantage.
T.J. Houshmandzadeh -- Again, we refer you to that Colts-Broncos game in Week 8 and the way Wayne torched the weak side of Denver's secondary.
Terrell Owens -- He's finding a more consistent rhythm with Romo now and will be pumped to spoil Christmas Day for his former team and the Eagles fans.
Donald Driver -- The numbers in his past three games against Minny (19-389-4) say it all. Went off for 191 of those yards on Nov. 12. Now he is at home and it's December.
SLEEPERS
Steve Smith -- Opposing defences are just not letting him get open right now, but he should get more room to roam against the Falcons. If Delhomme returns, even better.
Torry Holt -- Has 168 more yards and seven of his 10 TDs playing on his home turf than he does in the same number of road games.
Lee Evans -- Losman looks for him deep on a regular basis and, against the Titans, that could produce one or two long-gainers and a score.
Joey Galloway -- Rattay looked for him 14 times last week but connected only three times -- for 107 yards and a TD. They'll do better against the sad Brownies.
Larry Fitzgerald/Anquan Boldin -- Take your pick, or take both, against a Niners secondary that has yielded seven TDs to opposing WRs the past three weeks.
Laveranues Coles -- Has scored nine touchdowns in nine career games against the Dolphins.
Plaxico Burress -- Didn't reach the end zone for the first time in five weeks, but the 120 yards against Philly were a season high.
RED-FLAGGED
Chad Johnson -- Oct. 25, 2004. Ocho burns Bailey for 149 yards and a long score in their ballyhooed Monday night showdown. Don't believe that the Champer has forgotten that one.
TIGHT ENDS
HIGH FIVE
Antonio Gates -- One catch? Seven lousy yards? Well, take solace in the fact you weren't alone in cursing him last week and that he will likely bounce back against the Seahawks.
Jerramy Stevens -- Hasselbeck finally started to hit him downfield again, a page in the playbook that will need to be revisited against San Diego.
Alge Crumpler -- Seems odd that Vick can throw for four TDs, with none going to him. All the more reason for Crumpler to come up big at home to sagging Carolina.
Kellen Winslow -- The emergence of the Browns' young QB and a home date with the porous Bucs should help him produce his best numbers in weeks.
Jeremy Shockey -- A favourite target of Eli's the past couple of games and has been a consistent producer -- with the exception of that one-catch stinker against Chicago -- from Week 7 on.
SLEEPERS
Vernon Davis -- Too little, too late, but he is just getting going now, scoring in each of his past two games and licking his lips at a Cardinals matchup.
Robert Royal -- Don't look now but this unheralded Bill is coming off a season-high 62 yards and now has found the end zone in three consecutive games.
Tony Scheffler -- Is 6-124-2 the past two games as he builds up a rapport with Cutler. Should take on a bigger role if Javon Walker can't play.
RED FLAGGED
Desmond Clark -- Despite his huge two-TD game last week, the Bears won't risk an injury in basically a nothing game.
