Seven new distributors in Canada and Mexico have joined NFL Network's roster of affiliates.
With the added affiliates, NFL Network now serves nearly five million subscribers outside the U.S, and 40 million throughout North America.
"Both Canada and Mexico are key countries for the NFL and bringing NFL Network to these markets will help bolster fan affinity and knowledge of our game," said Katie Boes, senior director of NFL International.
The new affiliates are:
Bell Express Vu (Canada)
Access Cable (Canada)
Sasktel (Canada)
Shaw Cable (Canada)
Star Choice DTH (Canada)
Cablevision Mexico City (Mexico)
Cablevision Monterrey (Mexico)
The channel will be a simulcast of NFL Network's United States version.
