TSN hits the gridiron running this season with a comprehensive NFL lineup that includes 24 regular season NFL games - all of which are available in High Definition on TSN HD.
The lineup also includes every Sunday night match-up throughout the regular season, three pre-season games, the Pro Bowl, NFL Draft, popular NFL magazine shows NFL Countdown, NFL Primetime and Monday Night Countdown, as well as special segments on SportsCentre and TSN.ca.
TSN kicks off the year with the pre-season American Bowl from Tokyo, as the Atlanta Falcons take on the Indianapolis Colts in Japan this Saturday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. ET.
Regular season action begins on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 p.m. ET with the Indianapolis Colts @ Baltimore Ravens. Highlights of TSN's NFL broadcast schedule include the traditional American Thanksgiving Day doubleheader on November 24, a tripleheader on December 17, two games on Christmas Day, and another doubleheader on New Year's Eve.
SportsCentre has wall-to-wall NFL highlights and analysis throughout the season. On Thursdays, TSN resident football guru Chris Schultz is back with the popular Risky Business segment, as Schultz offers his four weekly picks against the spread. On Fridays, TSN NFL Insider John Clayton hits the air with his perspective on the coming weekend's action. On Saturdays, it's Chris Berman's popular 2-Minute Drill, as well as NFL Match-up where the SportsCentre team picks the best NFL match-up of the week and provides an in-depth preview of the game. And on Mondays, SportsCentre presents Game Film, as Schultz breaks down game film to give fans an inside look at the NFL's playmakers and game breakers.
Schultz's popular online column Schultz Against the World returns to TSN.ca for another exciting season, where fans can go head-to-head with Schultz and pick the winners of each game. TSN.ca, Canada's leading sports website, will also have a comprehensive season preview with a complete list of all the off-season moves, as well as up-to-the-minute news, game results and stats during the season.
Three popular ESPN NFL shows return to TSN this season, and all are available in High Definition:
- NFL Countdown - a two-hour preview of the week's action, airing Sundays at 11 a.m. ET
- NFL Primetime - a one-hour highlight show, airing Sundays at 7:30 p.m. ET prior to TSN's Sunday night game coverage
- Monday Night Countdown - a 90-minute show that reviews Sunday's scores and previews the upcoming week, airing Mondays at 7:30 p.m. ET
NFL Countdown and NFL Primetime have their season debut on Sunday, Sept. 11, while Monday Night Countdown's season premiere is Monday, Sept. 12.
ESPN Classic continues to televise NFL Films every Monday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET, and also airs a selection of the greatest moments from past Super Bowls during Super Bowl Week.
