  • Philadelphia Eagles Rookie line backer Mike Labinjo made two special teams tackles, including one on the opening kick-off of Super Bowl XXXIX - but it was not enough to capture the game and become the sixth Canadian to play for a Super Bowl champion team. The Eagles were narrowly defeated 24-21 by the New England Patriots.

The 24 year old was on the practice roster until Dec. 14, 2004 when he signed a three-year deal with the Eagles and was given a spot on the active roster and the special-teams squad.

  • Big Ben not thrilled with new coach

Ben Roethlisberger is hoping new offensive coordinator Todd Haley doesn’t toss the Steelers’ offensive schemes into the trash bin.
