  • Calgary native and Minnesota Viking starting wide receiver Nate Burleson had 2 carries for 11 yards as the Vikings fell 34-31 to the Green Bay Packers in their Christmas Eve match-up.

  • Colts kicker Mike Vanderjagt was 3-3 on extra point kicks and 4-5 on field goals when a fourth quarter attempt hit the left upright. Indianapolis held on to one of their narrowest wins of the season winning 34-31 over the San Diego Chargers.

  • In New Orleans 26-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons Canadian Mitch Berger contributed 7 punts for 306 yards and one tackle while fellow Saint Jerome Pathon had 3 receptions for 49 yards.

  • Chicago Bear rookie Israel Idonije added a tackle and an assist to the Bears defense as they feel 19-13 to the Detroit Lions.

  • Canadian kicker Steve Christie added 5 field goals and an extra point kick to the NY Giants hard fought 23-22 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

  • Toronto native Kerry Carter had a tackle on special teams as the Seahawks move towards the play-offs with a narrow 24-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Fellow Canadian J.P. Darche also saw the field for the Seahawks.

  • Raider tight end Teyo Johnson has 3 receptions for 52 yards as Oakland fell 31-30 to the Kansas City Chiefs.
  • Cutler glad to be back with Marshall

    Mike Tice is the Bears’ new offensive coordinator, but this year, more than ever, it will be Jay Cutler’s offense on the field.
