    Puppa's future uncertain

     TAMPA, Fla. (CP) -- Veteran goaltender Daren Puppa, who becomes an unrestricted free agent July 1 after seven seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning, has yet to decide on his future. Puppa, 35, still has back pain from injuries suffered in the second game last season.
     
     "He's is training every day," says his agent, Steve Reich. "If he can get to where he could play and his back would hold up for a season, he will play. If not, he will retire."
