Tuesday, October 19, 1999 Roy set for Montreal visitMONTREAL (CP) -- Avalanche goalie Patrick Roy is looking forward to returning to the city where he played for 11 years before being traded to Colorado on Dec. 6, 1995, after a bitter parting with coach Mario Tremblay and team president Ronald Corey. The Avs play the Habs tonight. "It's always fun to go back to Montreal," Roy told the Rocky Mountain News. "I don't have the same approach as when I first left there. It's part of the schedule and it's important for us to try to win. I'd lie to you if I'd say, 'It's never a pleasure to win in Montreal.' I'm more concerned about the team than my own thing of winning in Montreal. "I will always have great memories from my stay in Montreal. But now it's part of the past. I enjoy where I am right now. I don't root against (the Canadiens), I don't root for them. I don't follow them. If you ask me their record, I have no clue. I don't have a grudge against them anymore. There hasn't been one for the past two years."
