    Healthy analysis of Fuhr

    By The Calgary Sun staff
If he stays out of sick bay, it could be a heck of a deal.
That's the word on the Flames acquisition of ex-Oiler goaltender Grant Fuhr for a third-round pick, according to a fella who'll play in front of him this season.
"It sounds good for us if he's healthy," said Flames defenceman Tommy Albelin. "Hopefully, he is. He's had his injury problems. I can remember he hurt his knee two years ago, and was out for a while. And I can remember how tough it was on us when Kenny (Wregget) hurt his back last year.
"Nobody stepped up for us until Freddie did. "We needed a veteran goalie.
"It's a very important position to fill, and having Grant will be beneficial if he stays healthy.
"We know what Freddie (Brathwaite) can do, and if he plays as good as he did (in practice) yesterday, and if Grant can stay healthy and play the way he can, I think it sounds pretty good."
It certainly can't hurt ticket sales.
"I think Grant'll draw some more fans for us after all his years in Edmonton," said Albelin.
Plus, this time, Calgarians can cheer, not jeer him.
