TURNING POINT: In overtime, Shantz spun wildly trying to get his stick on a loose puck in front of the Sens net, connecting with a backhand that sent the puck sliding through Ron Tugnutt's pads and just over the goal line. SAVE OF THE GAME: In the third period, Sens rookie Mike Fisher jumped up to grab a loose puck in the slot with Flames goalie Grant Fuhr sprawled helplessly on his back. But Fuhr reached up with his glove to snare Fisher's shot. NOTEWORTHY: Big Russian winger Andrei Nazarov was a not-so-surprising healthy scratch after taking a rash of penalties in recent games. That allowed Steve Dubinsky to escape coach Brian Sutter's doghouse. D Wade Belak was a healthy scratch for the third straight game ... Defenceman Denis Gauthier was given the night off to rest a nagging shoulder injury and rookie Robyn Regehr played his first NHL game, partnered with veteran Tommy Albelin ... The Sens claimed forward Viacheslav Butsayev off waivers from the Tampa Bay Lightning. Sens are looking for offensive help now that leading scorer Daniel Alfredsson is out of the lineup for about six weeks with a torn MCL ... In an effort to jumpstart the slumping Cory Stillman, Sutter put him on a new line centred by Pavel Torgajev with leading scorer Bure on right wing ... Calgary's first two goals were only 36 seconds apart and both came with the Flames on the powerplay ... Ottawa did not insert newly acquired Joe Juneau last night. The free agent signing is expected to make his Senators debut tonight... All three of Calgary's wins have come in overtime ...Bure's four points were the most by a Flames player in a game this season. Bure led the team with five shots on net ... Fuhr now has 401 career wins, chasing Terry Sawchuk's 447. NEXT UP: The Flames conclude their six-game road odyssey tomorrow night when they visit the Hangar in Toronto to face the Maple Leafs.
