Transportation
Parking is provided for spectators during race week. Three large lots totaling 10,000 spots are located near major highways approaching Hamilton. The parking fee is $10 per vehicle.
There is a Parking Shuttle from the lots. Using the same stops at the course is a Course Shuttle around the course. Shuttles are free with an event ticket or parking receipt. Shuttles are for ticket holders and spectators parking in official lots only.
Be early. Allow 60 minutes to park and shuttle to the course, longer if you want to take the course shuttle to a different part of the course.
Schedule
Shuttles begin two and a half hours before first race start of the day, finishing two hours after. More frequent at beginning and end of day.
Directions
From Niagara on QEW: exit at Centennial Parkway. Follow signs to Confederation Park. The Parking Shuttle drop-off location is Main Street and East, near the foot of the Claremont climb. To go to the start-finish, change buses to the Course Shuttle, or walk 11 blocks to the start-finish.
From Toronto on QEW:
Option A take QEW Niagara, to the exit at Burlington Street. Follow signs to Sherman, just north of Burlington. The drop-off location is Main Street and East, near the foot of the Claremont climb. To go to the start-finish, change buses here to the Course Shuttle, or walk 11 blocks to the start-finish.
Option B stay on 403 past downtown Hamilton up the hill to Garner Rd. exit then follow the signs to Ancaster Fairgrounds The drop-off location is Mohawk College, about 10 blocks walk from both Beckett and Claremont climbs. To go to the start-finish, change buses here to the Course..
From London on 403: exit at Trinity Road South # 52. Follow signs to Ancaster Fairgrounds. The drop-off location is Mohawk College, about 10 blocks walk from both Beckett and Claremont climbs. To go to the start-finish, change buses here to the Course.
General Instructions
Pay for parking at the entrance.
Receive vouchers for shuttles, for all car occupants, from the attendant.
Park as directed. Take your shuttle voucher with you. It (or your ticket) is your pass to the shuttles.
Walk to the Parking Shuttle pick-up location in the parking lot. Bags may be searched at entry points.
Take only carry-on size bags to shuttles and ticketed areas. All items must fit in your shuttle seat area. No items in aisles.
After the race, return to the same drop-off point to catch the shuttle back to your car.

No full size coolers
