Ricky Martin lights up the stage - literally

Latin super-star Ricky Martin's last concert was so hot, audience members were peppered with ashes.

Martin's concert in Denver at the Pepsi Center endured a small blaze, VH1 reported. Before Martin even made an appearance on-stage, lights in the arena's rafters ignited a piece of burlap.

Fans in the front rows were sprinkled with ashes and Pepsi Center staff evacuated the first ten rows.

But the show must go on and Martin started shaking his bon-bon about a half-hour later than scheduled.

"Of course we have a fire in the Pepsi Center," he told the crowd. "Look at this audience!"

Ricky himself remained unscathed in the fire (unlike Michael Jackson who's hair was burned while shooting a commercial for Pepsi).
