Ricky Martin joins forces with a soon-to-be-star

Touring with Ricky Martin might propel a new pop singer into fame.

Jessica Simpson is scheduled for the opening slot on Ricky Martin's tour, Rob Evans of Live Daily reported.

Before joining Ricky, Jessica will tour with pop heart-throbs, 98 Degrees. Jessica is no stranger to the touring circuit. She's already established herself in the Christian music industry and is trying to crossover into pop music.

Her album will be in stores Nov. 9 and her single, "I wanna Love You Forever," will be released Sept. 29.

Speaking of singles, Ricky is giving fans a new single to go crazy over. "Shake Your Bon Bon" is scheduled for release on Nov. 1. His tour opens on Oct. 20 at the Miami Arena.
