Ricky Martin is taking steps to secure an acting career.

Ricky, who just released his latest album, "Sound Loaded," has signed a deal with United Talent Agency, which will manage his movie and TV career, Variety reports.

Ricky's acting credits include a stint on the daytime drama "General Hospital" in 1994 and a role as Marius in Broadway's "Les Miserables" in 1996.

Ricky's musical career will still be looked after by his manager Angelo Medina and Rob Prinz of Artists Group International.
