Ricky Martin is gearing up for his new album.
The Latin super star will perform a private club date in New York on November 13 to celebrate the release of "Sound Loaded" his new album which hits stores on the same day, Allstar reports.
Ricky will sing at the Irving Plaza for 800 contest winners and fan club members. No tickets will be on sale for the event.
Ricky's first single from "Sound Loaded" is the energetic "She Bangs".
In more Ricky news, the pop star is hoping to raise AIDS awareness, Rolling Stone reports.
Ricky will host an HIV and AIDS documentary that's set to air on MTV on December 1 in honour of World AIDS Day.
The documentary is titled "Staying Alive 2" and is a follow-up to the George Michael hosted "Staying Alive" which won an Emmy in 1998.
This year's film will follow the stories of six young people from different parts of the world who are infected by HIV.
"AIDS continues to be a serious issue," Ricky said in a statement, "and there is still a lot of work to be done to raise awareness around the world . . . I truly hope this documentary inspires people to take the necessary precautions as well as show compassion towards those affected by AIDS."
