Ricky concert delayed

Ricky Martin fans in Australia and Southeast Asia will have to wait for a while longer to hear "Livin' La Vida Loca".

Martin postponed his tour in the two locations due to technical problems, Agence France-Presses reports.

He was originally scheduled to tour in late March/early April, but the equipment needed for his performances wasn't loaded on the ship to Australia.

Martin decided that it wouldn't be fair to give ticket-holders a show that wasn't quite up to standard.

"It meant that Australian audiences would be deprived of the full scale, multi-million dollar Ricky Martin concert production," Peter Korda, Worldwide Concerts chairman said. "He does not want to disappoint by putting on half a show and has therefore decided to reschedule the tour."

Martin's Southeast Asia tour will also be bumped back to later this year.
