Ahmed Marshall has resided in Calgary since 1982 and was a star wide receiver with both St. Mary's University and later the University of
Calgary where he was also a sprinter.
He was recruited by 1998 Olympic gold medallist Dave MacEachern and has enjoyed impressive results in
first two seasons on the national team.
Last year with
Pierre Lueders' four-man crew he was seventh at a World Cup in Germany and helped
Lueders to third overall in the World Cup combined standings.
