 Eric Bergoust figured those were the only acceptable options when he stood atop the hill and stared down the final jump Tuesday, the one that would determine gold, silver and bronze in the Olympic freestyle aerials.

Bean denied bronze by Canuck judge

 DEER VALLEY, Utah -- Jeff Bean thought he deserved to be on a podium Tuesday. The Ottawa freestyle skier thought he deserved to be making a trip to the medal plaza in downtown Salt Lake.

Russians unhappy with women's aerials judging
 PARK CITY, Utah (AP) -- The Russian Olympic Committee has sent a letter to the head of the International Ski Federation complaining of biased judging in women's freestyle aerials -- an event where two Canadians won medals.
 Russian Olga Koroleva led after the first jump of the final Monday, but slipped to fourth after the second jump. Australia's Alisa Camplin won the event ahead of two Canadians, Veronica Brenner, of Sharon, Ont., and Deidra Dionne, of Red Deer, Alta.
