After 12 years on the Canadian national Sebastien Groulx is headed to his first Olympic Games in Sydney. Canada's only entry in men's weightlifting, won two gold medals and a silver at the Commonwealth Games two years ago in Malaysia. His victories in the 69 kilograms class were also Canadian and Commonwealth records. Groulx began the sport at age 12 and has earned six Canadian overall titles.
